Our burgers have a premium texture and taste, filling you up and leaving you satisfied without breaking the budget, and making our burgers an easily protein substitute as the star of your meal--in fact, we did ourselves for less than $7.50 person for a home-cooked, filling, delicious and satisfying meal and we will tell you how! But first, let's talk about how you can "sizzle and save" with a few tips that can be used at the grocery store or in your Instacart to save money and cut down on food costs for your family.
How to Save Money on Meal Expenses with Steakhouse Elite Burgers
Easily Feed a Crowd: Burgers make for an easy and crowd-pleasing meal option. When you have a big family or friends over for a BBQ, making individual steaks for everyone can add up quickly. But with Steakhouse Elite burgers, you can buy them in bulk to easily feed everyone at a much friendlier cost. Serve them up with a variety of toppings and buns to create a DIY burger bar, and voila, dinner is served!
Create New Recipes: Burgers may be a staple, but they don’t have to be boring. Steakhouse Elite burgers give you the chance to think beyond the regular ketchup-mustard-relish toppings and create flavorful patties that take your taste buds on a ride. Mix in some sautéed onions, add your favorite cheese, and maybe even top it all off with an egg for some extra sizzle (see below for our $30 meal for four idea!). The possibilities are endless!
Think Beyond the Bun: As tasty as a bun can be, there are other options out there that do a fantastic job of enhancing the flavor of your burger. Using lettuce wraps instead of buns, for example, is an affordable and low-calorie way to enjoy your burgers. You can also try adding your favorite condiments and toppings to a pepper or tomato slice for an unexpected twist on a classic dish. Or, if you really want to shake things up, make a burger the protein on your favorite salad.
Meal Prep Like a Pro: Meal prepping can be nerve-wracking but it doesn’t have to be. Using Steakhouse Elite burgers as the base of your meal prep will save you money and time on your weekly meals. You can season and cook the burgers in bulk then portion them out for easy-to-grab meals throughout the week. Adding in some roasted veggies, sweet potatoes, or cauliflower rice alongside your burgers makes a well-balanced and budget-friendly meal.
Get Creative on a Budget: Burgers aren’t just for dinner. You can enjoy them for breakfast, too! A breakfast sandwich made with a Steakhouse Elite burger, a fried egg, and some cheese can make your morning much more delightful without breaking your bank. You can also try adding some cooked or even grated potato to create a hearty burger that is both tasty and budget-friendly.
An Instacart Steakhouse Elite Dinner for Four for $30
Now that we've shared some cost-saving tips for using Steakhouse Elite burgers in your family meals, let's share an example of how to apply these ideas to your Instacart. We did our version of a Prime Rib Burger and Potato Meal and spent only $7.50 per person.
What you'll need:
Steakhouse Elite premium burger four-pack
Sesame burger buns
Creamy horseradish sauce
One yellow onion
Sliced baby Bella mushrooms
How to do it:
Start with an order of your favorite four-pack of SteakhouseElite pre-pressed premium beef burgers (psst...our Burgers with Prime Rib are a great place to start!).
Pop two large potatoes in the microwave or air fryer on high for approximately five minutes. Heat your pan or grill and cook your burgers on med-high for four minutes on each side. While burgers are cooking, saute sliced onions and mushrooms in olive oil or butter (garlic optional for extra kick!). After turning your burger, melt Swiss cheese placing atop the burger in the last minute of cooking.
Your potatoes and burgers should be done about the same time, so plate up one cut-half of potato on each plate. Top with onion/mushroom mixture. Place cheesy burger patty atop the bottom bun, add onion/mushroom mixture, and coat top bun generously with creamy horseradish.
There you have it! A delicious, easy, creative and home-cooked meal for four for just $30! Savor this flavor of an entire steakhouse-quality meal for at the cost of a single steak--it's steak taste on a burger budget! So sizzle, and save, with Steakhouse Elite premium beef and these cost-saving meal planning tips!
